GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Governor Mike Braun signed an executive order today — waiving driver hour limits for propane deliveries during extreme cold — to speed up fuel shipments, with the waiver in effect until Dec. 20 statewide.  WOWO
  • Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation reported that $3 million was invested in its 2025 capital improvement program, finishing over 90 park projects (30 more than in 2024). The program includes playground and park facility upgrades, and the agency will spend $4 million on new projects in 2026.  21Alive

  • Steelworkers are preparing to install a structural steel beam for the top floor (four-story building) at the southwest corner of 9th and Main. This installation is part of The Auburn project that will soon advance local real estate development.  KPC News
