- ➤ Fort Wayne’s Solid Waste Department and GFL Environmental are urging residents to clear snow from streets and bins for safe garbage and recycling pickup during winter weather — trucks need room to work. - ➤ Mayor Sharon Tucker welcomed 14 recruits from the 98th class, 16 from the 99th class, and two firefighters from the Huntington Fire Department at the Public Safety Academy on Monday.
