- ➤ Youth for Christ launched its 'We Believe in You(th)' campaign this week to support local youth and raise funds for its city life, juvenile justice, and campus life ministries; the campaign has raised nearly $500,000 of its $750,000 goal and will run until November 21st. WANE 15
- ➤ Community Harvest Food Bank received a $10,000 grant from Indiana Michigan Power Foundation to fund about 40,000 meals for families in need. The funding will support hunger relief across nine counties as residents face delays in SNAP benefits during the holiday season — a measure designed to ease local hardship. WOWO
- ➤ Local families can help provide Thanksgiving meals by donating foods at the Turkey Rally Food Drive today, which runs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Kroger Coventry, Kroger Dupont, Parkview Field, and CHFB South—donations of turkeys, hams, and sides will support kids, seniors, Veterans, and families in need. 21Alive

- ➤ The Fort Wayne Chapter of The Links, Incorporated is launching Books, Beats & Brushes! on Saturday, Nov. 22 at the Pontiac Branch of the Allen County Public Library where parents will register youth in Pre-K to 3rd grades during the free orientation from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. The program will meet on Thursdays and Saturdays through April and include a book club, storytime with music and movement, and creative art opportunities — each youth receiving a Literacy Kit with a culturally relevant book and mini lesson on health literacy. - ➤ Mayor Tucker announced the master developer for the North River project at Punch Films yesterday at 4 p.m.—a decision that moves the city closer to building a sports hub for youth and adaptive sports.
