- ➤ Indiana FSSA announced on Wednesday that November SNAP benefits will be delayed by at least one week for 274000 households as the benefits are being recalculated with a new formula after the federally set maximum allotment was reduced by 50%. - ➤ Northwest Allen County Schools will hold a public hearing on December 8 at 6 p.m. in the Ronald D. Felger Board Room to discuss a lease amendment that may bring a new career and technical education center and transportation hub — the board plans to issue bonds up to $77.85M to support construction, renovations, and equipment purchases. - ➤ Fort Wayne City Utilities completed its 18-year Long-Term Control Plan that cut sewer overflows by 90% and now protects 45,000 homes from sewage backups—officials said the plan also supported over 14,000 local jobs. - ➤ Construction is underway today on two new homes as part of the A Lot to Love program—designed to turn vacant city lots into affordable housing—in Fort Wayne.
