- ➤ YLNI Farmers Market held its first winter market on Saturday at its new location—3811 Illinois Rd—from early November to late April. The market runs every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and welcomed both familiar and new vendors as space expanded for growing demand. 21Alive
- ➤ Applications are open for Allen County’s Toys for Tots program—suspended in 2024 due to a lack of local organizers—and the initiative is preparing to help over 6,000 children. MidWest America Federal Credit Union is leading the effort with unwrapped toys collected through December 1 and applications closing on November 20. 21Alive
- ➤ Preparations in Fort Wayne have begun for Christmas on Broadway, which will feature a parade, tree-lighting, and fireworks on November 21 at 5 p.m. A tree stand is being built for a 40-foot Colorado spruce arriving on November 17 to serve as the centerpiece of this long-standing celebration. 21Alive

- ➤ Later this month, the Fort Wayne Zoo will launch the Light Fest in partnership with Blue Jacket—offering a drive-thru of over 200 animated displays and a Wild Lights event at the zoo with nearly one million lights, a dance party with Santa's elves, and holiday treats like s’mores and cookie decorating. - ➤ Fort Wayne hosted its first Mark Cuban Foundation AI Bootcamp session on Saturday, giving high school students five hours of free instruction on how AI works and its ethical challenges — and the city is one of 30 across the U.S. chosen for the program. Future sessions will run on the next two Saturdays — expanding local opportunities for hands-on learning in technology. 21Alive

- ➤ A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held in Leo-Cedarville on November 1 to mark the reopening of Grabill Road Bridge after work that secured its piers with riprap, lined a pipe, and installed a new deck. Officials from the Allen County Board of Commissioners, Allen County Highway Department and the Town of Leo-Cedarville joined community members along the St. Joseph River as the bridge reopened to the public on Friday—restoring a link that has served the area for over 100 years.
