  • Indiana State Police are warning drivers to watch for deer on roadways as deer enter roads unexpectedly this season, urging extra caution when driving at dusk and dawn (when deer are most active) to help avoid accidents (last year over 17,000 deer-related crashes resulted in 707 injuries and nine fatalities).  The Journal Gazette

  • Michael Bradt, a veteran of improv comedy who moved from near Chicago last year, opened Fort Wayne Improv at 1314 East State Boulevard after transforming the former Big Tooth Furniture Shop into a venue for spontaneous artistic expression. The club will host its first show on New Year's Eve — with a children’s party starting at 11 a.m. on December 31 — and will offer improv classes.  21Alive
