- ➤ Erin’s House for Grieving Children hosted its 20th annual Wine for the Spirit fundraiser on October 3 at the Don Wolf Center at Do it Best and GE Club of Electric Works in downtown Fort Wayne—raising $400,000 to support free grief services for youth and families. - ➤ Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control announced that its Paws and Run 5K—held last weekend at Buckner Park—raised over $3,000 for the Angel Fund that provides medical care for shelter animals.
