- ➤ Blue Jacket has partnered with the Fort Wayne Zoo to create a new holiday event that includes a drive-through of over 200 animated light displays—along with Wild Lights at the zoo featuring a Santa’s Cottage, dance party, tree-lighting and other family activities. - ➤ City officials said the Pennsylvania Produce Terminal Historic District in the East Central Neighborhood was added to the National Register of Historic Places because of its role in shaping commerce and transportation in our local grocery market. The group of warehouses—built in 1925 and 1929—reflects a design by the Pennsylvania Railroad that highlights Fort Wayne's historic industrial heritage. 21Alive

- ➤ A report by the Indiana Hospital Association (IHA) showed hospitals produced over $63 billion in economic activity and supported about 240,548 jobs in 2024. Expected Medicaid funding cuts from the One Big Beautiful Bill Act could force hospitals to cut services and staff, which may affect patient care and the local economy. WOWO
- ➤ Yesterday at a quarterly meeting of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, Governor Mike Braun said his economic strategy delivered results—average wages for incentivized jobs jumped from $37 to $41 while the cost per job for taxpayers dropped from $55,000 to $16,000.
