- ➤ Authorities confirmed that two Fort Wayne residents died at their Morrow Way home on Sunday—Toni Lynn Ott, 45, was killed by a gunshot wound and James Derek Moreno, 47, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. WFFT-TV

- ➤ Data shows gunfire was heard near Indiana schools 2,771 times between 2015 and 2024 in cities such as Indianapolis, Fort Wayne and Gary — leaving students and teachers alarmed.
