- ➤ Fort Wayne Police investigated a shooting on Monday at State Boulevard and Cass Street after officers encountered a man who had made concerning statements and brandished a firearm, and they shot him when he posed a threat; he later died in hospital from his injuries. WFFT-TV
- ➤ Officers responded on July 19th at 3:03 a.m. to a shooting at the 1800 block of River Run Trail where a Black male, aged 15 to 20 years and 5'11" tall weighing about 123 pounds (with a chipped front tooth), was pronounced dead, and the police are asking anyone with information to call the homicide division.
