- ➤ Old Fort Mustangers hosted its 42nd annual Mustang & Ford Show on Saturday at Ivy Tech Community College’s Coliseum Campus—car enthusiasts from across the Midwest gathered to view vintage and new Ford-powered vehicles, and proceeds funded a scholarship for an Ivy Tech Automotive Technology student. 21Alive

- ➤ On Saturday at about 3 a.m., Fort Wayne police responded to reports of shots fired on the 1800 block of River Run Trail and found a man with multiple gunshot wounds—he was taken to a local hospital where he later died. 21Alive
- ➤ On Friday, the Fort Wayne Police Department’s Vice and Narcotics and Gang and Violent Crimes units arrested nine suspects in a downtown blitz operation targeting open-air drug dealing, prostitution, and warrant evasion — earlier patrols in spring and summer had led to 27 additional arrests. - ➤ Devonte Travier, a Fort Wayne man, was found guilty of murdering popular local barber Diasha Renee Fitts and of additional drug charges—he faces sentencing on Aug.15 with a potential 100-year prison term—pending final court action. WANE 15
