  • A 17-year-old has been charged with murder in connection to the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Eriyn White at Tillman Park Monday night—officers said another victim sustained life-threatening injuries, and the teen also faces a handgun violation while being held at the Allen County Justice Center.  The Journal Gazette
  • Fort Wayne Police are searching for 29-year-old barber Shan Lindell Ford Jr., a 225-pound, 5-foot-9 man with short dark hair who is wanted for murder after a double fatal shooting on the southeast side on Thursday—he is considered armed and dangerous.  21Alive

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Fort Wayne Mayor Sharon Tucker announced yesterday that the Northwest Central Collaborative and East State Village Neighborhood Group were chosen to lead the Connected Neighborhoods initiative. The city will invest $2 million in 2025 with construction planned for 2026+ another $2 million award is set for 2027.  21Alive
