  • The Allen County Fair will return to northwest Fort Wayne on Tuesday, June 17 and run until Sunday, June 22 at the Allen County Fairgrounds on Carroll Road — featuring 4-H activities, livestock shows, carnival rides, live music and fair foods with free morning admission and free parking.  21Alive

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Motorists using the northbound lane of US 27 from Main St north should drive carefully as clean-up crews work to remove spilled soybean salad oil from a semi—whose leak began on June 10 and extended from Main St to the I-69N ramp—while travel remains hazardous for the next 12–24 hours.  Around Fort Wayne
  • Mayor Sharon Tucker announced that $380,000 in federal grants will be given to 22 Fort Wayne nonprofits to help with shelter, basic needs, employment skills, and youth development. The funds were awarded at the YWCA Northeast Indiana event.  WFFT-TV
