- ➤ Daniel Lamar Preston, a 33-year-old Fort Wayne man, died Saturday after his SUV rolled over on the Interstate 469 ramp to Interstate 69 and struck a culvert — he was the 19th traffic fatality this year and the crash remains under investigation. The Journal Gazette
- ➤ A pedestrian was hit early Monday morning at the intersection of Lima and Dupont Roads on Fort Wayne’s north side — the victim is in life-threatening condition and police have closed the intersection for about two hours as they investigate. 21Alive

- ➤ On June 1st, 2025, officers responded to a shooting at the 900 block of Colerick Street and found an 86-year-old resident fatally shot; the Fort Wayne Homicide Unit is investigating and urges anyone with information to call the police (427-1201) or Crime Stoppers (436-7867) or use the free P3 Tips app. US 93.3
- ➤ Fort Wayne police investigated the fatal shooting of an 86-year-old woman on June 1st on Colerick Street & offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. WFFT-TV
- ➤ Melvin Green, a Fort Wayne man who pleaded guilty to selling 40 grams or more of fentanyl to undercover officers seven times starting in March 2022, was sentenced to 60 months in prison and four years of supervised release—he was arrested in July while trying to make another sale—with additional drugs, firearms, and ammunition found at his home.
