- ➤ A video from Friday night shows a group of white men beating a Black man at Pike’s Pub just outside Fort Wayne after he was accused of not paying his tab and using a racial slur while a petition with about 500 signatures seeks to revoke the bar’s liquor license or shut it down—petition organizers say the incident was racially charged and involved a man linked to a gang. - ➤ Officers responded to the early morning shooting on Colerick Street on Fort Wayne’s south side at about 1:50 a.m.—they found a female with fatal gunshot wounds, medics pronounced her dead, and police along with the Allen County Prosecutor's Office and Coroner's Office continue to investigate with no suspect identified.
