- ➤ City of Fort Wayne will hold its Neighborhood Presidents meeting on June 2 at 6 p.m. at Citizens Square in the City Council Chambers+ neighborhood leaders are encouraged to register as active while speakers Chris Blauvelt and Alec Johnson update attendees on the Tall Grass/Weed program and current redevelopment projects. - ➤ Mayor Sharon Tucker’s office said the city council approved three new committees that will soon guide opioid settlement funds, mental health services & young adult engagement. The National Opioid Settlement Committee, Mayor’s Mental Health Commission, and Mayor’s Young Adult Council will each consist of seven appointed members. 21Alive
- ➤ Fort Wayne has launched a Neighborhood Engagement Grant program to help local neighborhood associations host events that bring residents and businesses together.
