- ➤ Fort Wayne Trails gave Northwest Allen County Schools $25,000 to build a sidewalk connecting a middle school campus to Union Chapel Trail — the check was presented last week at a school board meeting and construction is set to begin this summer, with substantial completion expected by September. - ➤ Southwest Allen County Schools Education Foundation hosted its first Start Smart Drive on Saturday, May 10, at Homestead High School to collect school supplies and hygiene items for every SACS student — organizers plan to keep accepting donations and make the drive an annual tradition. WOWO
