- ➤ A Fort Wayne man pleaded guilty to wire fraud related to a fraudulent Paycheck Protection Program loan and was sentenced to 24 months probation - including 10 months of location monitoring - and ordered to pay $23,332 in restitution after he falsely claimed to own an auto sales business to secure more than $20,000 in relief funds during the COVID-19 pandemic. - ➤ Fort Wayne native Jocelynn Hartwig, a full-time Microsoft engineer, launched nonprofit Marginal Entropy to teach coding and STEM skills using Minecraft Education Edition to underserved children ages 4 to 17—small class sizes help each child get personalized instruction—and the program will add AI lessons next season to boost learning.
