  • Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control is joining the national 'Empty the Shelters' event with BISSELL Pet Foundation and will reduce or waive adoption fees at all locations from today until May 15—dogs six months and older will pay $50 while senior dogs, kittens, adult cats and small animals will have no fee.  21Alive
  • Today, the Community Harvest Farm Wagon will change its schedule by ending service at 1010 Coliseum Boulevard in Fort Wayne and moving stops to St. Peter’s Catholic Church on Friday at 1 p.m. and Helping Hands on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.—in DeKalb County, the Farm Wagon will serve at Garrett United Methodist Church on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Monday and at the Heimach Center on the 2nd and 4th Monday at 9:00 a.m.  WANE 15

  • Mayor Sharon Tucker and the City Utilities Department detailed a $95 million plan to improve Fort Wayne's northeast side—focusing on stormwater, water, and sanitary sewer projects, including work already under way on key water mains in several neighborhoods.
