- ➤ Community Harvest Food Bank’s annual donation drive displays themed 'Canimals' constructions built by area students at Glenbrook Square mall until May 3, and residents can vote for their favorite school by donating dollars—each $1 provides four meals for a family. - ➤ Students at North Side and South Side high schools moved to remote learning Tuesday due to a bus driver shortage; FWCS is now offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus + $3,000 performance bonus to attract qualified drivers. 21Alive
- ➤ Purdue University Fort Wayne will expand its club sports program with 15 teams, including hockey + lacrosse, due to strong student interest and a major gift from W. Paul Wolf. The new W. Paul Wolf Field near Dean Drive will host competitions this fall. US 93.3

- ➤ Fort Wayne’s Office of Housing & Neighborhood Services reported that the winter emergency shelter effort provided 4,055 safe shelter nights for 248 individuals, including 183 women, 18 men and 47 children, through a 24/7 shelter at The Salvation Army.
