Good morning, Fort Wayne.

The Fort Wayne Zoo unveiled a new electric train engine Friday to replace its decades-old diesel model as it opened for the season.

The upgrade, funded by about $475,000 through the All Aboard Campaign, is expected to save roughly $34,000 a year, and train rides cost $4 per person.

The Komets rallied during the second and third periods to secure a win over Indy Fuel, sparking local cheers and showing strong teamwork in a hard-fought game.

The Tincaps earned their first win of the series on Saturday against the Timber Rattlers & improved their standing as they build momentum for the season.

The Komets took control today as they scored three goals in less than four minutes during the second period to take a 2-0 series lead over Indy Fuel.

The team is playing in Fort Wayne and plans to build on the momentum in the next game.
