- ➤ Indiana State Police solved a more than 50-year-old cold case when detectives used new DNA work and forensic genealogy to identify Fred Allen Lienemann—who was killed in 1985—as the man linked to the shooting death of Phyllis Bailer on July 7 while she was driving with her daughter. 21Alive
