- ➤ Community Harvest Food Bank served a record-breaking 2,024 families at its Saturday Helping Hands event as need increased over the past three years, with counts rising from 600-700 to 1,940 in February. Engagement Manager Adam Roby said the food bank maintained services by hiring extra staff and will ask residents to volunteer or host food drives since donations are expected to fall in summer. - ➤ Early Sunday, Fort Wayne police reported two men died and a third person is in life-threatening condition after separate shootings occurred on the 2100 block of Hobson Road at 1:15 a.m. and near East Wayne and South Monroe streets at 5:40 a.m.—officers are investigating both cases.
