- ➤ Lutheran Health collected 11,972 jars to fight hunger as part of its Jars of Love drive, more than doubling last year's record. The donations will support six area food banks, including Community Harvest + Wells County Food Bank + Combined Community Services. WFFT-TV
- ➤ Local donations saved a Fort Wayne foster care charity from closure on Friday, Apr. 2 as community contributions provided critical funds to keep its services for children. Charity officials said the emergency support ensured that help for families will continue. 21Alive

- ➤ The Veteran National Memorial Shrine and Museum reopens today after being closed since December for a reorganization that refreshed exhibits and added a new gun wall — it will be open Friday through Monday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. WFFT-TV

- ➤ An Ivy Tech report shows Fort Wayne and Kosciusko County campuses add over $401.7 million to the local economy and support more than 5,185 jobs for Fiscal Year 2024-2025, according to data released today. The Journal Gazette

- ➤ Indiana First Lady Maureen Braun announced that Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library now gives every child under age 5 a free monthly book across all 92 counties, including Fort Wayne’s community.
