- ➤ The Southwest Allen County Schools board voted tonight to oppose a proposed quarry near Lafayette Meadows Elementary — a unanimous decision reflecting concerns over student safety and traffic. - ➤ INDOT announced that bridge deck overlay work will begin on State Road 124 near Bluffton on Monday, March 30 and is expected to last until mid-August. Drivers are advised to follow detour routes via State Road 1, State Road 218 and State Road 3 during the closure. 21Alive
- ➤ Starting on or after Monday, INDOT announced work will begin on U.S.-24 between Linden and Doyle roads and on the I-469 on-ramp from eastbound Rose Ave. to southbound I-469, with alternate lane closures and work scheduled to finish by the end of April. US 93.3
- ➤ A portion of Leesburg Road in Fort Wayne was renamed Saint Francis Drive on Mar. 23 to honor Francis of Assisi — the new name reflects local cultural heritage. WFFT-TV
