  • Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control launched a new adoption app to help residents find pets faster. The tool lets users browse available animals & begin the adoption process immediately.  21Alive
  • The Long Term Care Ombudsperson kicked off a Pajama Drive to collect new or gently used pajamas for long-term care residents in Fort Wayne. The initiative—launched yesterday—will help keep seniors warm and draw local support in the coming weeks.  21Alive
  • Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control partnered with Petszel to offer a free app that stores pet records, including medical info and microchip details to help new pet parents. The shelter hopes the tool will prevent missed vaccines & outdated records for every animal.  WFFT-TV

  • Summit Middle School’s track and field facility is getting a synthetic surface, improved fencing, and better pedestrian access — school board members approved $2.27 million in construction bids on Tuesday while the project comes in about $1.5 million under its $4 million budget.  The Journal Gazette

  • Citilink announced two public meetings on March 25 to gather input on bus route updates aimed at improving service efficiency and access to key medical centers. The meetings will be held in late morning and early evening, building on recent changes in southeast Fort Wayne.  The Journal Gazette
