- ➤ Two Fort Wayne natives will invest $9.5 million to build an 80-room hotel at 1661 S. Phoenix Parkway in southeast Fort Wayne, aided by a 10-year tax abatement plan. Construction will begin in August + finish by the end of next year. The Journal Gazette

- ➤ Northwest Allen County Schools will tell the school board this spring about a plan to finance over $14 million in building upgrades for 11 schools through 2030, covering pavement, roof, chiller and boiler replacements.
