  • Northwest Allen County Schools educator Mitchel Lepper from Maple Creek Middle School earned a Teacher Honor Roll nomination for his efforts to build strong, personal connections with his students. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Gov. Braun sent a letter to the state's U.S. delegation today asking for a permanent federal solution to allow year-round E-15 that could lower pump prices by up to 30 cents and support Indiana corn and ethanol producers at 15 plants.  US 93.3
  • The National Association of Letter Carriers, representing 295,000 active+retired members, held a rally in downtown Fort Wayne Sunday, Feb. 22 to support fair contract negotiations with USPS. Local carriers and community members gathered on the Allen County courthouse lawn to boost public backing ahead of talks.  21Alive

HEALTH NEWS

  • A 52-year-old Fort Wayne man (leadership coach) suffered a heart attack yesterday and was treated at Lutheran Hospital where medical staff performed CPR for 43 minutes. He now encourages residents to get a heart check as he works on his upcoming book.  WOWO
