- ➤ Nearly 2,000 students fill Homestead High School today for the nation’s largest show choir competition — featuring over 40 group acts and a solo/small ensemble contest with finals starting at 7 p.m., while tickets cost $15 for prelims, $12 for finals, or $20 for both. 21Alive
- ➤ Cinema Center marks 50 years with an Oscar Gala on March 14 at 437 East Berry Street at 6 p.m. (featuring a red carpet arrival, themed attire, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, and raffles) while launching its Celebrate 50 campaign to raise $100,000 for facility improvements. The Waynedale News
