- ➤ CMS will award Indiana $206,927,897 from the Rural Health Transformation Program on Monday, Jan. 5 as part of a $50 billion initiative to improve rural health care; the funds will be distributed over five years to modernize local facilities. WOWO
- ➤ On December 29, 2025, Heartland Ambulance Service began handling 911 calls outside city limits (after TRAA stopped such calls) as Allen County Fire Chiefs arranged the transition to ensure consistent emergency care. The change now means residents receive the same care in emergencies regardless of location. WOWO
